The purpose of the Youth Build Program is to provide youth in need of assistance to overcome employment barriers; an opportunity to learn by applying themselves in a program that allows for alternative learning through skill building curriculum and community experiences. This program targets young men and women ages 17 through 19 years of age who are dropped out of school or on the verge of dropping out. The Youth Build Program offers these individuals a “hands on” learning experience that allows for learning in class, in shop and in community in order to gain knowledge of future career opportunities in the trade sector.
